The National Bank of Ukraine has introduced a renewed banknote of 50 hryvnias on December 20, 2019. The new updated version of the hryvnias banknotes will be introduced in 2020, will the 200 hryvnias and coins of 10 hryvnias coming out first.
The bank introduced the new banknote of 1,000 hryvnias on October 25, 2019. It is 75x160mm in size and blue as the main color. It has the portrait of Volodymyr Vernadsky, the famous scientist and the first president of Ukraine’s Academy of Sciences.
