The Central Bank of Russia has released commemorative coins on August 12, 2019, in honor of ‘The Bremen Town Musicians’ a very famous Russian animation series.
One of the coins, valued at three rubles, is made of silver while the other made of base metals is valued at twenty-five rubles. The reverse side of the coins illustrate the scenes from the cartoon and ‘Bremen Town Musicians’ is inscribed at the top of the coin.
The total number of coins issued for circulation are 3000 silver coins, 450 thousand and 50 thousand coins of base metals in ordinary and special versions, respectively
